Asia International Auctioneers, Inc. Christmas Gift Giving for the Elderly at Missionaries of Charity

As thanksgiving for AIA’s 20th year and in its continuing commitment to give back to the community, Asia International Auctioneers, Inc. (AIA) employees spent a heartwarming and meaningful time with the elderly residents of the Missionaries of Charity Olongapo through its Christmas Gift Giving Program.

AIA prepared nourishing meals and gifts including wheel chairs, pillows, blankets, toiletries, milk and other necessities for the elders, children, and missionaries at the nursing home. The volunteers also provided care for the residents, as well as surprises and delightful treats to add to the Christmas spirit.

The Missionaries of Charity Olongapo welcomes abandoned elderly women and children with special needs who are financially and physically unable to support themselves while considering their spiritual, physical, and social wellbeing to uplift their quality of life. The congregation relies on donations for its daily operations, and as such, AIA provided them support to help provide better care and share the love with the residents this Christmas season.

AIA’s corporate social responsibility programs demonstrate its dedication in contributing to the needs and overall welfare of local communities – an advocacy that it is determined to uphold in its various initiatives, which include Livelihood and Outreach Programs, Educational Grants, Biodiversity Conservation and Reforestation, Disaster Aid Activities and other similar undertakings.
